About Me and My Mission
My name is Hanna Beattay I recently started Geni's Childcare in order to provide for the severe lack of family childcare homes in my community. I put my children through school at the local elementary and preschool and saw the effects firsthand. The amount of family childcare homes that still exist in the neighborhood surrounding sagebrush has dropped to nearly 0. I believe that there is beauty in in-home childcare as not only do you have significantly smaller class sizes you also have multi-age classrooms that allow kids to learn emotional, social, physical, and mental skills from their older peers. After raising my own two children through the system and seeing the kids around them struggle due to lacking a small group environment and seeing the effect of that opportunity gap breaks my heart. I believe that all children should have an equal opportunity to succeed and that is why I strive towards the goal of creating and sustaining a safe daycare environment.
Health & Safety
I have completely redone the entire house in order to fulfill all of the safety standards for children of all ages. I have also received a childcare license, and every possible precaution is taken to ensure that your child's safety comes first. We also have a 6-student limit at any given time in order that your child is given the proper attention needed. If a child has any medical conditions such as allergies, precautions will be put in place to avoid any accidents. Not only is the interior of the house childproof, but also the backyard. The children are encouraged to explore their creativity in a way that avoids danger to ensure safety. This is why the children will 100% of the time be supervised by an adult to ensure the safety of each child.
